"Be Not Afraid": The Story of Steven
Hello and welcome to myeFolio! My name is Steven and I hope you will take the time to peruse this site to learn more about me, my time at Holy Cross, and how this experience has transformed me to be the person I am meant to be. I ask you to please keep one thing in mind when looking at this site: while most people take four years to graduate, I am doing so in a year and a half post high school graduation! While I am incredibly excited about this possibility, I realize that I am still very young and knowledge of myself will continue to develop as time goes on.
To start exploring myeFolio, please click on the tabs that are on the left of the webpage, keeping in mind there may be several subsections underneath each. If nothing else, I highly recommend taking a look at "The Four Pillars" section of my site. Also worth noting is that if you click on the logo found to the left, it will take you to the Holy Cross website!
The theme I have chosen are the famous words of Blessed Pope John Paul II: "Be not afraid!" I have a certain affinity towards this pope because like myself, he came from a simple beginning but was able to achieve greatness. Choosing this theme extends beyond this affinity however, because before I came to Holy Cross, my life was primarily built upon fear. I was afraid to try new things and would simply go through the same routine everyday. Journey with me through these pages to see how I have been able to overcome the many fears in my life by relying on the knowledge that God is with me through it all and that He has a special plan for my life. Understanding and following that plan requires faith and courage to conquer fear of the unknown!
Again, my sincerest gratitude for taking the time to come and visit my site. It would be an honor if you could be in attendance of my capstone presentation being held in the Art Room of the Vincent Office Building, Room 140 at Holy Cross College on Tuesday, November 19th at 2:30 pm. In the meantime, please feel free to contact me by looking at the information on the last section of the webpage entitled "employment history and contact information". I would love to hear from you!
